Walking in the woods of BC can lead to some interesting sights. This giant spider web was just lit up by a ray of sunshine. The contrast between the web, the light and the lush vegetation was beautiful.

I paint because I love to paint. Of course I'm happy to sell my work but for me each painting is an adventure, a digging into myself to see what I can do. I love nature. Many of my paintings are places in natural settings that I have visited. It is my attempt to share the beauty and the feelings that I saw and felt when I was there. I like to experiment with new ideas while I paint. I love art. One of my favourite things to do is to visit galleries and museums. Before I became an artist, or knew that I was an artist, I loved looking at the art created by other artists. It makes me so happy when someone loves my work enough to want to put it into their home.
