Rocks, ice and snow and moving water make this winter waterfall alive. Hints of sunlight on the rocks give warmth and the promise of spring. But the snow and ice remind us winter is not over. Be patient. The moving water gives life to the forest animals and birds.

I paint because I love to paint. Of course I'm happy to sell my work but for me each painting is an adventure, a digging into myself to see what I can do. I love nature. Many of my paintings are places in natural settings that I have visited. It is my attempt to share the beauty and the feelings that I saw and felt when I was there. I like to experiment with new ideas while I paint. I love art. One of my favourite things to do is to visit galleries and museums. Before I became an artist, or knew that I was an artist, I loved looking at the art created by other artists. It makes me so happy when someone loves my work enough to want to put it into their home.
