About Erika Dick

Erika Dick

I paint because I love to paint. Of course I'm happy to sell my work but for me each painting is an adventure, a digging into myself to see what I can do. I love nature. Many of my paintings are places in natural settings that I have visited. It is my attempt to share the beauty and the feelings that I saw and felt when I was there. I like to experiment with new ideas while I paint. I love art. One of my favourite things to do is to visit galleries and museums. Before I became an artist, or knew that I was an artist, I loved looking at the art created by other artists. It makes me so happy when someone loves my work enough to want to put it into their home. Sharing my art is like sharing a piece of my soul. I love to see children draw...
